A favorite fast chocolate fix - super-easy to make. You'll never bother with boxed brownie mixes again.

  • 1 cup (two sticks) butter
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup flour

Melt butter and chocolate together in the microwave, or on the stovetop on low. In a bowl, combine sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in chocolate/butter mixture, then stir in flour. Pour batter into greased 9" x 13" pan and bake at 325 degrees for 30 or so minutes, until it tests done in the center or the edges just start to pull away from the pan. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy.
